THE CITY OF RICHMOND HEREBY ORDAINS:

? 1. That the Chief Administrative Officer is authorized to accept funds for the City of Richmond in the amount of $19,581.00 from the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services for the purpose of funding the Richmond Sheriff's Office purchase of personal protective equipment, cleaning supplies and equipment, thermometers, and fit tests in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

That Ordinance No. 2020-050, adopted May 11, 2020, which adopted a Special Fund Budget for the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2020, and ending June 30, 2021, and made appropriations pursuant thereto, be and is hereby amended by creating a new special fund for the Richmond Sheriff's Office called the CESF (COVID-19): DCJS special for the purpose of funding the Richmond Sheriff's Office purchase of personal protective equipment, cleaning supplies and equipment, thermometers, and fit tests in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
