To authorize the Chief Administrative Officer to accept funds in the total amount of $229,815.00 from the Virginia Department of Transportation; and to appropriate the amount of $229,815.00 to the Fiscal Year 2018-2019 Capital Budget by increasing estimated revenues and the amount appropriated to the Department of Public Works’ Major Bridge Improvement Program in the Transportation category by $229,815.00 for the purpose funding the replacement of the Lynhaven Avenue Bridge over Broad Rock Creek.

THE CITY OF RICHMOND HEREBY ORDAINS:
§ 1. That the Chief Administrative Officer is hereby authorized to accept funds in the amount of $229,815.00 from the Virginia Department of Transportation for the purpose of funding the replacement of the Lynhaven Avenue Bridge over Broad Rock Creek.
§ 2. That the funds received are hereby appropriated to the Capital Budget for the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2018, and ending June 30, 2019, by increasing estimated revenues by $229,815.00, increasing the amount appropriated for expenditures by $229,815.00, and allotting to the Department of Public Works’ Major Bridge Improvement Program in the Transportation category the sum of $229,815.00 for the purpose of funding the replacement of the Lynhaven Avenue Bridge over Broad Rock Creek.
§ 3. This ordinance shall be in force and effect upon adoption.
