To appoint Tamiya R. Lunsford to the position of Council Budget Analyst.

WHEREAS, the City Council has determined its need for independent fiscal analysis and has established the position of Council Budget Analyst by adopting section 2-32 of the Code of the City of Richmond (2020), as amended; and
WHEREAS, the City Council’s Chief of Staff has interviewed and examined the qualifications of Tamiya R. Lunsford and determined that Tamiya R. Lunsford meets all qualifications for the position of Council Budget Analyst; and
WHEREAS, the City Council’s Chief of Staff has recommended that the City Council appoint Tamiya R. Lunsford to the position of Council Budget Analyst in accordance with section 2-32 of the Code of the City of Richmond (2020), as amended;
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND:
That Tamiya R. Lunsford is hereby appointed to the position of Council Budget Analyst for an indefinite term beginning September 25, 2023, provided the appointee has satisfied all necessary pre-hiring requirements.
