Title: To amend Ord. No. 2022-002, adopted Jan. 24, 2022, which appropriated certain American Recovery Plan Act of 2021 funds to the Department of Finance, by transferring $2,200,000.00 from the Department of Finance's Healthy Homes (ARPA) program and to amend Ord. No. 2023-071, adopted May 8, 2023, which adopted the Fiscal Year 2023-2024 General Fund Budget and made appropriations pursuant thereto, by creating a new line item entitled "ElderHomes Corporation (project:HOMES) Healthy Homes (ARPA)" in the Non-Departmental agency and by appropriating such $2,200,000.00 to such new line item in the Non-Departmental agency, all for the purpose of funding the implementation of an emergency substantial housing rehabilitation program.

THE CITY OF RICHMOND HEREBY ORDAINS:

§ 1.That Ordinance No. 2022-002, adopted January 24, 2022, which appropriated certain American Recovery Plan Act of 2021 funds to the Department of Finance, is hereby amended by transferring $2,200,000.00 from the Department of Finance’s Health Homes (ARPA) program for the purpose of funding the implementation of an emergency substantial housing rehabilitation program.

§ 2.That Article I, Section 1 of Ordinance No. 2023-071, adopted May 8, 2023, which adopted a General Fund Budget for the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2023, and ending June 30, 2024, and made appropriations pursuant thereto, is hereby amended by creating a new line item in the Non-Departmental agency entitled “ElderHomes Corporation (project:HOMES) Healthy Homes (ARPA)” and appropriating the funds in the total amount of $2,200,000.00 transferred pursuant to section 1 of this ordnance to the new line item in the Non-Departmental agency created by this section entitled “ElderHomes Corporation (project:HOMES) Healthy Homes (ARPA)” for the purpose of funding the implementation of an emergency substantial housing rehabilitation program. § 3. This ordinance shall be in force and effect upon adoption.
