The proposed Fire Department Training Facility will be located at 3000 East Belt Boulevard. The property is owned by the City of Richmond. The proposed project site is approximately 1.97 acres of pervious area and is currently an abandoned recreational field. The new facility will consist of a 1.17 acre concrete pavement apron for fire trucks to maneuver, small training building, ornamental fencing, site lighting, landscaping, and stormwater facilities.
