To amend and reordain Ord. No. 2022-195, adopted Jul. 25, 2022, which authorized the Chief Administrative Officer, for and on behalf of the City of Richmond, to execute a Friends Association Grant Contract between the City of Richmond and Friends Association for Children Endowment Fund, Inc., for the purpose of stabilizing the Friends Association for Children Endowment Fund, Inc.’s child care and preschool programs, to modify the agreement to reflect the grant recipient’s legal name as “The FRIENDS’ Association for Children.”

THE CITY OF RICHMOND HEREBY ORDAINS:
I. That Ordinance No. 2022-195, adopted July 25, 2022, is hereby amended and reordained as follows:
§ 1. That the Chief Administrative Officer, for and on behalf of the City of Richmond, be and is hereby authorized to execute a Friends Association Grant Contract between the City of Richmond and [Friends] The FRIENDS’ Association for Children [Endowment Fund, Inc.], for the purpose of stabilizing [Friends] The FRIENDS’ Association for [Children Endowment Fund, Inc.’s] Children’s child care and preschool programs. The Friends Association Grant Contract shall
be approved as to form by the City Attorney and shall be substantially in the form of the revised document attached to this ordinance.
§ 2. This ordinance shall be in force and effect upon adoption.
II. This amendatory ordinance shall be in force and effect upon adoption.
