THE CITY OF RICHMOND HEREBY ORDAINS:
? 1. That the Chief Administrative Officer is authorized to accept funds in the amount of $900,000.00 from the United States Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs for the purpose of funding a program to reduce recidivism by providing enhanced support services for the reentry of offenders into the Richmond community.
? 2. That Ordinance No. 2021-041, adopted May 24, 2021, which adopted a Special Fund Budget for the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2021, and ending June 30, 2022, and made appropriations pursuant thereto, be and is hereby amended by creating a new special fund for the City Sheriff called the FY 21 Second Chance Reentry Grant Special Fund for the purpose of funding a program to reduce recidivism by providing enhanced support services for the reentry of offenders into the Richmond community.

That the funds received from the United States Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs are hereby appropriated to the Special Fund Budget for the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2021, and ending June 30, 2022, by increasing estimated revenues by $900,000.00, increasing the amount appropriated for expenditures by $900,000.00, and allotting to the City Sheriff's FY 21 Second...
