To establish the form of the annual budget pursuant to City Charter § 6.04 and City Code § 12-12.

WHEREAS, pursuant to section 6.04 of the Charter of the City of Richmond (2020), as amended, which prescribes that the annual budget shall be in such form “as . . . the city council may require,” and section 12-12 of the Code of the City of Richmond (2020), as amended, which provides that the annual budget shall be in the form set forth in that section and as set forth in a resolution adopted by the Council, as may from time to time be amended, the Council desires to establish that, for the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2022, and ending June 30, 2023, and for each fiscal year thereafter, the annual budget shall be in the form set forth in the document entitled “City of Richmond, Form of Annual Budget,” a copy of which is attached to this resolution;
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND:
That, pursuant to section 6.04 of the Charter of the City of Richmond (2020), as amended, and section 12-12 of the Code of the City of Richmond (2020), as amended, the Council hereby establishes that, for the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2022, and ending June 30, 2023, and for each fiscal year thereafter, the annual budget shall be in the form set forth in the document entitled “City of Richmond, Form of Annual Budget,” a copy of which is attached to this resolution.
