THE CITY OF RICHMOND HEREBY ORDAINS:

 

                     § 1.                     That the Chief Administrative Officer is authorized to accept funds in the amount of $1,100,000.00 from the Virginia Resources Authority for the purpose of funding improvements to stormwater drainage infrastructure to reduce repetitive flooding in the McGuire, Chapel Drive, and Hopkins Road neighborhoods in the city of Richmond.

                     § 2.                     That Ordinance No. 2021-051, adopted May 24, 2021, which adopted the Stormwater Utility Budget for the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2021, and ending June 30, 2022, by increasing the estimated receipts of the stormwater utility and the amount appropriated for expenditures of the stormwater utility by $1,100,000.00 for the purpose of funding improvements to stormwater drainage infrastructure to reduce repetitive flooding in the McGuire, Chapel Drive, and Hopkins Road neighborhoods in the city of Richmond.

§ 3.                     This ordinance shall be in force and effect upon adoption.
