To request that the Mayor propose an annual budget for Fiscal Year 2022-2023 that recommends appropriations for all budget enhancements requested by City Council agencies.

WHEREAS, the Council is of the opinion that enhancements to the budgets of the seven Council agencies are essential for the work of the Council and the City; and
WHEREAS, the Council believes it is in the best interest of the citizens of the City of Richmond that the Council request that the Mayor propose an annual budget for the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2022, and ending June 30, 2023, that recommends appropriations for all budget enhancements requested by agencies whose heads are appointed by the City Council;
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND:
That the Council requests that the Mayor propose an annual budget for the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2022, and ending June 30, 2023, that recommends appropriations for all budget enhancements requested by agencies whose heads are appointed by the City Council.
