THE CITY OF RICHMOND HEREBY ORDAINS:
? 1. That the Chief Administrative Officer is authorized to transfer funds in the amount of $1,156,360.00 from the Office of the Deputy Chief Administrative Officer for Human Services to the Non-Departmental agency for the purpose of providing certain eligible community partners with funding for the support of a collaborative community health literacy program.
? 2. That Ordinance No. 2021-040, adopted May 24, 2021, which adopted the General Fund Budget for the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2021, and ending June 30, 2022, and made appropriations thereto, is hereby amended by transferring funds in the amount of $1,156,360.00 from the Office of the Deputy Chief Administrative Officer for Human Services and increasing estimated revenues from the funds transferred pursuant to section 1 of this ordinance and the amount appropriated by $1,156,360.00 and appropriating funds in the total amount of $1,156,360.00 to the to the Non-Departmental agency for the purpose of providing those eligible community partners with funding to support a collaborative community health literacy program in the following amounts:
(a) Community 50/50, Inc. $88,000.00.
(b) Kinfolk Community Empowerment Center, Inc. $103,000.00
(c) La Casa de la Salud $87,000.00.
(d) Nolef Turns Inc. $97,000.00
(e) Richmond City Health District $70,000.00.
(f) Sacred Heart Center, Inc. $89,500.00.
(g) Virginia Union University $545,060.00.
(h) Waymakers Foundation $76,800.00.
