TITLE

To accept an additional $20,104,653.00 from the Commonwealth of Virginia's allocations of monies from the federal Coronavirus Relief Fund, to transfer $20,104,653.00 from the Department of Fire and Emergency Services' COVID-19 Relief Special Fund, to amend the Fiscal Year 2020-2021 General Fund Budget by appropriating $40,209,306.00 to a new program in the Department of Fire and Emergency Services, and to repeal Ord. No. 2020-133, adopted Jun. 22, 2020, all for the purpose of funding necessary expenditures incurred due to the public health emergency with respect to the COVID-19 pandemic.

BODY

THE CITY OF RICHMOND HEREBY ORDAINS:
? 1. That the Chief Administrative Officer, for and on behalf of the City of Richmond, is authorized to accept funds in the amount of $40,209,306.00 from the Commonwealth of Virginia as part of the Commonwealth's allocation of monies from the federal Coronavirus Relief Fund, representing equal allocations of $20,104,653.00 allocated to the City on May 12, 2020, and July 28, 2020, for the purpose of funding necessary expenditures incurred due to the public health emergency with respect to the COVID-19 pandemic.
? 2. That funds in the amount of $20,104,653.00, appropriated to a new COVID-19 Relief Special Fund for the Department of Fire and Emergency Services by Ordinance No. 2020-133, adopted June 22, 2020, are hereby transferred from the Department of Fire and Emergency Services' COVID-19 Relief Special Fund to the General Fund Budget for the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2020, and ending June 30, 2021.

That Ordinance No. 2020-049, adopted May 11, 2020, which adopted the General Fund Budget for the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2020, and ending June 30, 2021, and made appropriations pursuant thereto, is hereby amended by appropriating funds in the amount of $40,209,306.00, received as described in sections 1 and 2 of this ordinance, to a new program, with a program number to be assigned in accordance wit...
