THE CITY OF RICHMOND HEREBY ORDAINS:

 

                                          § 1.                     That section 12-95 of the Code of the City of Richmond (2015) be and is hereby amended and reordained as follows:

Sec. 12-95. Athletic activities; adult leagues; tennis tournaments; tennis camps; softball tournaments.

 

(a)   The fee schedule applicable to athletic activities when the activities are conducted by an organized adult athletic league and tournaments shall be as set forth in Appendix A to this Code.

(b)  Tennis fees shall be as set forth in Appendix A to this Code. In addition, a fee for each hour or fraction thereof may be charged and paid into the City treasury for using after sunset each tennis court maintained and operated by the City, to aid in defraying the cost of making tennis courts available for use.

                     (c)   [The fee for conducting a softball tournament will be as set forth in Appendix A to this Code.

(d)]   All fees imposed pursuant to this section shall be paid into the City treasury to defray the cost of maintaining such facilities.

[(e)   Pine Camp Art and Recreation Center fees shall be as set forth in Appendix A to this Code. Staffing (supervision and custodial) costs will apply during nonoperating hours at an overtime rate. Technical assistance and equipment rental fees may apply. Rehearsal time may be scheduled based on the building's availability within the allotted time.

(f)   Portions of the Hickory Hill Community Center, equipment and services related thereto may be used upon the approval of the Chief Administrative Officer or his designee and the payment of the rental fees as set forth in Appendix A to this Code.]

                                          § 2.                     That the fees set forth in Appendix A of the Code of the City of Richmond (2015) for section 12-95(a), 12-95(b), 12-95(c), 12-95(e), and 12-95(f) of the Code of the City of Richmond (2015) be and are hereby amended and reordained as follows:

§ 3.                     This ordinance shall be in force and effect as of July 1, 2020.
