THE CITY OF RICHMOND HEREBY ORDAINS:

? 1. That the Chief Administrative Officer is authorized to accept funds in the amount of $165,000.00 from the Commonwealth of Virginia 9-1-1 Services Board for the purpose of funding costs for improvements to the 9-1-1 call handling equipment within the City's emergency communications network.
? 2. That Ordinance No. 2019-042, adopted May 13, 2019, which adopted a Special Fund Budget for the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2019, and ending July 1, 2020, and made appropriations pursuant thereto, be and is hereby amended by creating a new special fund for the Department of Emergency Communications called the Next Generation 9-1-1 Implementation Special Fund for the purpose of funding costs for improvements to the 9-1-1 call handling equipment within the City's emergency communications network.

That the funds received are hereby appropriated to the Special Fund Budget for the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2019, and ending June 30, 2020, by increasing estimated revenues by $165,000.00, increasing the amount appropriated for expenditures by $165,000.00 and allotting to the Department of Emergency Communications' Next Generation 9-1-1 Implementation Special Fund the sum ...
