THE CITY OF RICHMOND HEREBY ORDAINS:

§ 1.                     That the Chief Administrative Officer is authorized to accept funds for the City of Richmond in the amount of $49,999.00 from the Office of the Attorney General of Virginia for the purpose of funding the acquisition of police equipment including a mobile video system, pole cameras, safety shields, and emergency medical equipment bags.

§ 2.                     That Ordinance No. 2018-058, adopted May 14, 2018, which adopted the Special Fund Budget for the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2018, and ending June 30, 2019, and made appropriations pursuant thereto, be and is hereby amended by increasing revenues from the funds accepted pursuant to section 1 of this ordinance by $49,999.00 and increasing the amount appropriated to the Department of Police’s OAG Asset Forfeiture Transfer Program special fund by $49,000.00 for the purpose of funding the acquisition of police equipment including a mobile video system, pole cameras, safety shields, and emergency medical equipment bags.

§ 3.                     This ordinance shall be in force and effect upon adoption.
