To declare a public necessity for and to authorize the acquisition of the parcels of real property owned by the Capital Region Land Conservancy, Inc., located at 201 Bermuda Road, 229 Bermuda Road Rear, 3600 Warwick Road, 3601 Warwick Road, 2024 Westover Hills Boulevard, 2101 Lumkin Avenue, 2900 Krouse Street, 2902 Krouse Street, 2904 Krouse Street, 2906 Krouse Street, 2908 Krouse Street, 2910 Krouse Street, 2912 Krouse Street, 2914 Krouse Street, and 2916 Krouse Street for the purpose of expanding and preserving public green space for community use and enjoyment.

WHEREAS, in the opinion of the Council of the City of Richmond, a public necessity exists for the acquisition of properties located at 201 Bermuda Road, 229 Bermuda Road Rear, 3600 Warwick Road, 3601 Warwick Road, 2024 Westover Hills Boulevard, 2101 Lumkin Avenue, 2900 Krouse Street, 2902 Krouse Street, 2904 Krouse Street, 2906 Krouse Street, 2908 Krouse Street, 2910 Krouse Street, 2912 Krouse Street, 2914 Krouse Street, and 2916 Krouse Street, identified as Tax Parcel Nos. C006-0422/004, C006-0422/007, C009-0743/051, C009-0844/068, S006-0093/016, S008-0527/062, S008-0527/053, S008-0527/054, S008-0527/055, S008-0527/056, S008-0527/057, S008-0527/058, S008-0527/059, S008-0527/060, and S008-0527/061, respectively, in the 2026 records of the City Assessor, for the purpose of expanding and preserving public green space for community use and enjoyment;
NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY OF RICHMOND HEREBY ORDAINS:
