Title: To authorize the Chief Administrative Officer, for and on behalf of the City of Richmond, to accept funds in the total amount of $2,358,999.00 from the Virginia Department of Transportation, to amend Ord. No. 2022-055, adopted May 9, 2022, which accepted a program of proposed Capital Improvement Projects for Fiscal Year 2022-2023 and the four fiscal years thereafter, adopted a Capital Budget for Fiscal Year 2022-2023, and determined a means of financing the same, to appropriate the increase to the Fiscal year 2022-2023 Capital Budget by increasing estimated revenues and the amount appropriated to certain Department of Public Works' Highway Safety Improvement Program projects in the Transportation Category by $2,358,999.00 for the purpose of funding the implementation of various pedestrian safety improvements throughout the city of Richmond.

THE CITY OF RICHMOND HEREBY ORDAINS:
? 1. That the Chief Administrative Officer, for and on behalf of the City of Richmond, is authorized to accept funds in the total amount of $2,358,999.00 from the Virginia Department of Transportation for the purpose of funding the implementation of various pedestrian safety improvements throughout the city of Richmond.
? 2. That the funds received from the Virginia Department of Transportation are hereby appropriated to the Capital Budget for the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2022, and ending June 30, 2023, by increasing estimated revenues by $2,358,999.00, increasing the amount appropriated for expenditures by $2,358,999.00, and allotting such sum to the Department of Public Works for the following Highway Safety Improvement Program projects in the Transportation category in the following amounts:
(a) Traffic Signal Visibility Improvement -
Citywide Pedestal Pole to Mast Arm Signal Upgrades (UPC 110841) $420,475.00;
(b) Pedestrian Safety Improvements at
