To request that the James River Outdoor Coalition provide to the Chief Administrative Officer and other officials of the City's Administration, as appropriate, the information necessary for the Mayor to introduce and for the Council to adopt the necessary amendments to Ord. No. 2021-042, adopted May 24, 2021, which accepted a program of proposed Capital Improvement Projects for the fiscal year beginning Jul. 1, 2021, and for the four fiscal years thereafter, authorizing the Chief Administrative Officer to accept a grant from the Coalition in the amount of $145,000.00 for the construction of the universal access ramp at Huguenot Flatwater Park located at 8600 Riverside Drive in the city of Richmond, and that the Mayor introduce such legislation as may be necessary to accept such grant funds for the implementation of the universal access ramp at Huguenot Flatwater Park located at 8600 Riverside Drive in the city of Richmond and to amend the Capital Budget for the Fiscal Year 2021-2022 for the purpose of appropriating $145,000.00 for the universal access ramp at Huguenot Flatwater Park. WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 2019-043, adopted May 13, 2019, and which adopted the Capital Budget for the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2019, and ending June 30, 2020, appropriated $150,000.00 for a universal access ramp at Huguenot Flatwater Park located at 8600 Riverside Drive in the city of Richmond; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 2020-083, adopted May 26, 2020, appropriated an additional $180,000.00 for the Universal Access project in the Culture and Recreation category; and
WHEREAS, $305,956.00 of the amount appropriated is shown as available for the universal access ramp at Huguenot Flatwater Park, identified as Project No. 106388 in the program of proposed capital improvements submitted by the Mayor on March 5, 2021; and
