To authorize the Chief Administrative Officer, for and on behalf of the City of Richmond, to accept funds in the amount of $5,000.00 from Henrico County, and to amend the Fiscal Year 2024-2025 Special Fund Budget by increasing estimated revenues and the amount appropriated to the Department of Neighborhood and Community Services’ “OAA Resource Mapping Project Special Fund” by $5,000.00, for the purpose of creating a resource map in collaboration with Henrico County to combat the opioid crisis.

THE CITY OF RICHMOND HEREBY ORDAINS:

§ 1.                     That the Chief Administrative Officer, for and on behalf of the City of Richmond, is authorized to accept funds in the amount of $5,000.00 from Henrico County for the purpose of creating a resource map in collaboration with Henrico County to combat the opioid crisis.

§ 2.                     That Article I, Section 2 of Ordinance No. 2024-099, adopted May 13, 2024, which adopted a Special Fund Budget for the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2024, and ending June 30, 2025, and made appropriations pursuant thereto, be and is hereby amended by increasing the amount appropriated for expenditures by $5,000.00, and allotting to the Department of Neighborhood and Community Services’ “OAA Resource Mapping Project Special Fund” the sum of $5,000.00, for the purpose of creating a resource map in collaboration with Henrico County to combat the opioid crisis.

§ 3.                     This ordinance shall be in force and effect upon adoption.
