THE CITY OF RICHMOND HEREBY ORDAINS:

§ 1. That Ordinance No. 2022-284, adopted November 14, 2022, which accepted the second tranche of American Rescue Plan Act funds and appropriated funds to the General Fund Budget for certain agencies and contingencies, is hereby amended by changing the description and purpose of a priority area set forth in the City’s American Rescue Plan Act spending plan entitled “ARPA Spending Plan by Priority Area,” a copy of which is attached to Ordinance No. 2022-284, adopted November 14, 2022, from “Covid-19 Administrative Response Reserve” to “Employee First-Time Homebuyer’s Assistance Program” for the purpose of providing funding for the implementation of an Employee First-Time Homebuyer’s Assistance program instead of for a COVID-19 reserve. § 2.                     This ordinance shall be in force and effect upon adoption.
