To authorize the Chief Administrative Officer, for and behalf of the City of Richmond, to execute a Site Lease Agreement and a Solar Power Purchase Agreement Project Agreement No. 5– Police Training Academy between the City of Richmond and RVA PD Solar 2050 LLC for the purpose of installing, operating, and maintaining rooftop solar panels on City-owned property located at 1202 West Graham Road for the generation of solar power energy for use and purchase by the City, and a Solar Renewable Energy Credit Irrevocable Assignment Agreement No. 5– Police Training Academy between the City of Richmond and RVA PD Solar 2050 LLC for the purpose of assigning to the City a percentage of solar renewable energy certificates generated by the rooftop solar panels operated by RVA PD Solar 2050 LLC on City-owned property located at 1202 West Graham Road. THE CITY OF RICHMOND HEREBY ORDAINS:
§ 1. That the Chief Administrative Officer, for and on behalf of the City of Richmond, be and is hereby authorized to execute a Site Lease Agreement between the City of Richmond and RVA PD Solar 2050 LLC for the purpose of installing, operating, and maintaining rooftop solar panels on City-owned property located at 1202 West Graham Road for the generation of solar power energy for use and purchase by the City. The Site Lease Agreement shall be approved as to form by the City Attorney and shall be substantially in the form of the document attached to this ordinance.
§ 2. That the Chief Administrative Officer, for and on behalf of the City of Richmond, be and is hereby authorized to execute a Solar Power Purchase Agreement Project Agreement No. 5– Police Training Academy between the City of Richmond and RVA PD Solar 2050 LLC for the purpose of installing, operating, and maintaining rooftop solar panels on City-owned property located at 1202 West Graham Road for the generation of solar power energy for use and purchase by the City.
