THE CITY OF RICHMOND HEREBY ORDAINS:

 

§ 1.                     That the Chief Administrative Officer, for an on behalf of the City of Richmond, is hereby authorized to accept a donation of services in the form of construction materials and labor valued at approximately $100,000.00 from the Friends of The James River Park for the purpose of funding the repair and restoration of the Byrd Park Pump House.

§ 2.                     That the Chief Administrative Officer, for and on behalf of the City of Richmond, is hereby authorized to execute a Byrd Park Pump House, Right-of-Entry Agreement between the City of Richmond and the Friends of The James River Park in connection with the acceptance of the gift authorized by section 1 of this ordinance; provided that such agreement must first be approved as to form by the City Attorney and must be substantially in the form of the document attached to this ordinance.

§ 3.                     This ordinance shall be in force and effect upon adoption.
