WHEREAS, the Council believes that it is in the best interest of the citizens of the City of Richmond that the Council request that the Mayor include in the budget proposed by the Mayor for the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2019, and ending June 30, 2020, proposed appropriations in the amount of $150,000.00 for consulting services to advise and provide the City Council with analysis on such matters as the City Council may deem to be in the best interests of the City;

NOW, THEREFORE,

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND:

That the Mayor is hereby requested to include in the budget that the Mayor proposes for the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2019, and ending June 30, 2020, proposed appropriations in the amount of $150,000.00 for consulting services to advise and provide the City Council with analysis on such matters as the City Council may deem to be in the best interests of the City.
