THE CITY OF RICHMOND HEREBY ORDAINS:

§ 1.                     That the Chief Administrative Officer, for and on behalf of the City of Richmond, is authorized to accept funds in the total amount of $67,166.39 from the Greater Richmond Transit Company for the purpose of funding the connection of seven Bus Rapid Transit bus stations into the traffic signal fiber optic communication network as part of the Richmond Signal System Phase III (Federal) project.

§ 2.                     That the funds received pursuant to section 1 of this ordinance are hereby appropriated to the Capital Budget for the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2021, and ending June 30, 2022, by increasing estimated revenues by $67,166.39, increasing the amount appropriated for expenditures by $67,166.39 and allotting to the Department of Public Works’ Richmond Signal System Phase III (Federal) project in the Transportation Category the sum of $67,166.39 for the purpose of funding the connection of seven Bus Rapid Transit bus stations into the traffic signal fiber optic communication network as part of the Richmond Signal System Phase III (Federal) project.

§ 3.                     This ordinance shall be in force and effect upon adoption.
